SLOYB Sponsorship Opportunities
Currently, SLOYB is making upgrades to a number of our field locations: Visit the home page to see the changes we have made to Stockton and Throop fields. Plans are to add new infield dirt to French, upgrade French and Upper Sinsheimer Sheds, and replace Upper Sinsheimer Wood bleachers. Sponsorships assist us in making these upgrades to provide a more enjoyable experience. Additionally, they assist us in providing scholarships!
Special Thanks to Doug Morrow for Coordinating the installation of Stockton Field's new infield grass. Nathan Blaney, David Forster, and Tully Wyatt for spending their Saturday painting and cleaning out Throop Shed in preparation of the upcoming spring season! See Photos below.
SLOYB is currently taking Volunteers for 2018 Spring Season Coaches. If you would like to participate as a Head Coach, Assistant Coach, or Team Parent, please indicate this during your registration. You can also reach out with your request to email@example.com. Coaches will be selected by the board on Januarary 15th. Please have your request in before then. The earlier the better, in order for the board's planning process.
SLOYB participated in the SLO Holiday Parade on Dec. 1st. The kids had a blast walking in the parade and handing out novelty baseballs to potential players. The kids handed out over 500 baseballs!
Thank you to Lisa Irwin, Yatin Naran, Brian Riley for planning the parade event and all the parents who assisted and signed up their player to join!
Elementary Demo Days
SLOYB Board members have been hard at work hosting Demo Days during lunch at our local Elementary Schools! Currently, we have visited Pacheco and Hawthorne Elemenatries. We are visiting Teach this week and looking to January for the other school sites.
Thank you to Greg Peters, David Forster, and Yatin Naran for taking the time to reach out to potential players!
